The iOPEN24 Platform was the Irish Heart Foundation’s first point of entry into e-commerce. It has enabled us to take literature orders online, receive donations online and provide a facility for our fundraisers to create their own web space. It has also given us a content management system that our non-tech staff can use to update the website. The solution that iPLANIT have provided has allowed us a whole new level of interaction; in providing the heart health information we need to have in the public domain and also allowing the public to ask questions, request literature, donate, and keep in touch with the organisation. From a Health Professional viewpoint, providing information about research grants, conferences and reports/position papers has become easy and efficient to maintain.
